Directions for Use Deep Fat Fryer Cleaner is used to boil-out oil fryers to remove the carbonised and burnt on product residues. These residues tend to build up on the heating tubes, reducing heat transfer. Dilution: On lightly soiled fryers use 5ml of Deep Fat Fryer Cleaner per litre of water. On heavily soiled fryers use 20ml of Deep Fat Fryer Cleaner per litre of water. Procedure: Switch the fryer off and allow the oil to cool to a safe temperature (40 – 50°C). Remove the cooking oil from the fryer into a container for either reuse or disposal. Rinse as much oil and debris from the fryer as possible using warm water. Fill the fryer to its normal level with the detergent solution (at the dose rate recommended above) and boil for 30 minutes. Allow the detergent solution to cool to a safe temperature (40 – 50°C), empty the detergent from the fryer and thoroughly rinse by refilling and emptying the fryer at least twice with cold water. Dry using suitable absorbent materials before refilling with oil.
